How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for popular spring and summer dates. If your wedding is sooner, it's always worth getting in touch—I occasionally have last-minute availability.
How do we book you?
Booking is simple. Once you've decided you'd like me to photograph your wedding, I'll send over a contract and invoice for the booking fee. Your date is officially secured once both have been completed.
Do you travel?
Absolutely. I photograph weddings throughout the UK and love travelling for destination weddings too. Travel is included within my local area, while longer journeys or overnight stays may require an additional fee. I'll always provide a clear quote upfront.
How many photos will we receive?
Every wedding is unique, but you can typically expect between 500 and 800 carefully edited, high-resolution images from a full-day wedding. Rather than limiting your gallery to a set number, I deliver every image that tells the story of your day beautifully.
When will we receive our photos?
You'll receive a selection of preview images within a few days so you can relive the excitement and share your favourites. Your full gallery is usually delivered within 6–8 weeks, depending on the time of year.
Do you edit every image?
Yes. Every image you receive is individually edited for colour, exposure, and consistency in my signature style. I also remove temporary distractions where appropriate, but I don't heavily alter appearances or use excessive retouching.
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes! Engagement sessions are a fantastic way for us to get to know each other before the wedding. They also help you feel more relaxed in front of the camera, making your wedding portraits feel effortless.
We're not comfortable in front of the camera. Is that okay?
Completely. Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera, and that's perfectly normal. I'll guide you naturally without making you pose for hours, so you can enjoy spending time together while I capture genuine moments.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is natural, candid, creative, and storytelling-focused. I capture real moments as they happen. My goal is to create timeless photographs that you can treasure forever.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Some collections include a second photographer, while others offer the option to add one. Having a second photographer can be especially valuable for larger weddings or if you're getting ready in different locations.
What happens if it rains?
Rain never stops a great wedding. I'll work with whatever the weather brings and always have ideas for beautiful indoor locations or creative outdoor portraits using umbrellas if you're happy to embrace it.
Are you insured?
Yes. I carry full public liability insurance, and my equipment is fully insured. If your venue requires proof of insurance, I'm happy to provide it.
What happens if you're ill or unable to attend?
In the extremely unlikely event that I can't photograph your wedding due to serious illness or an emergency, I'll do everything possible to arrange a trusted professional photographer from my network to step in. If a replacement cannot be found, any payments made will be refunded in accordance with my contract.
Do you back up our photos?
Absolutely. Your images are backed up throughout the wedding day and stored securely in multiple locations during editing and delivery, giving you peace of mind that your memories are protected.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes. Your photographs deserve more than a screen. I offer beautifully crafted wedding albums and professional-quality prints that are designed to last for generations.
How do we get in touch?
I'd love to hear about your plans. Simply head over to my contact page, tell me a little about your wedding, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with availability and pricing.
